Who We Are & What We Do
We are a student group at the University of Toronto Mississauga, the main purpose of this club is to increase awareness and knowledge about the 2SLGBTQ+ community at the UTM campus. This club wants to celebrate the accomplishments within the community both locally and internationally. We also want to hold places where we can discuss international and local issues, and what steps we can take to improve them and find solutions. Lastly, we also aim to promote a sense of community and togetherness where the 2SLGBTQ+ community and their allies are able to have a space where they can exist safely and peacefully, whether they are out or not.

Mission
We work toward creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment for LGBTQIA+ students, staff, faculty, and almuni. The Club aims to sustain visibility and a sense of community throughout the campus. We are committed to building workplace equity, promoting student and staff leadership, and providing high-quality, culturally sensitive care to our members.

Vision
We are a campus club made of multiple, intersecting identities and histories. We envision a stronger UTM 2lgbtqia+ community that is inclusive, respectful, and values the diverse perspectives of all groups. We will:
-
Connect, retain, and sustain our students, staff, faculty, and alumni;
-
Reflect the diversity of our campus community;
-
Collaborate with the UTM Campus groups and associations to advocate for the needs of the 2lgbtqia+ community and its allies;
-
Promote emotional wellness and a safe, friendly environment for all.
